Quality Selection
We handpick only high-quality, healthy nursery stock to ensure you’re getting the best from the very start.Safe Transport

One of the most common causes of transplant failure is improper planting depth—we ensure every plant is set at the ideal height for successful establishment.Soil Amendment for Root Establishment
We enhance the root zone with a specially selected soil amendment to help roots establish quickly and healthily.Support for Larger Trees
When needed, we install proper staking or support systems to stabilize larger plants as they establish.
Nursery Stock & Warranties
While some retail nurseries offer warranties for plants sold directly to homeowners, these warranties typically do not apply to contractor purchases. As your installer, we can often offer a lower overall planting cost if a warranty is not required.
However, if you prefer to purchase a tree or shrub yourself to receive a warranty, we’re happy to coordinate pickup and installation. Most local nurseries allow this arrangement, and you can choose from any nursery stock you prefer. We’ll handle the logistics and planting at our standard service rate.

Burlap and Basket Tree Nursery Stock
1st tree installation/planting:
1x B&B tree 1.25″-2″ caliper or 5′-6′ evergreen Nursery cost + ~$450 Planting price
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM 36″ wide gate and 8′ tall access
Shrubs/Potted Pernennials
*Potted trees and perennial shrub installation is priced upon type of tree/shrub and the size of the container as well the planting site labor needed. Typically ~80% of the nursery stock price is the cost for Earth to Sky Planting Service. *IF it has thorns its 150% 🙂
*Minimum $125 Planting Service
Planting FAQ's:
1. Is there a discount for multiple tree/shrub plantings? Yes, Planting Service prices are discounted after 1st tree planted/$125 minimum.
2. Can you plant where another tree was or has died? Yes, the removal of failed new planting or established trees is something we can do or contract removal and stump grinding to have done for you.
3. Can a tree/shrub be planted here? Yes, if you are not sure what kind ask the nuresery or schedule a consultation with us to discuss what is best suited in the location desired and to achieve your goals of planting.
4. Do you dig the hole to plant the trees? Yes, we dig the hole(s) for planting. A ‘Dig-Rite’ burried utility line locate request will be made for scheduled Planting Services customers by Earth to Sky.
5. Will you schedule your Planting Services without first doing a site survey? Yes, we will provide an estimate for our services from our general rates, any change of orders from extensive site preparation cost, difficultly in accessing planting site, extensive damage mitigation in allowing the planting or unforeseen obstacles arising will incur an increased price for labor and equipment required at separate charge depending on the service(s) required (EX. moving rock, mulch or other site preparation aside from digging hole for planting.)
*General Labor is charged at the rate of $75/hr/laborer charged by whole hour. Please understand we want to provide a quality service and more effort is sometimes required to do that; compensation for our energy is necessary for the success our business, thank you for understanding.
